On September 10th, let us unleash our revolt, but let us also begin THE SOCIAL AND POLITICAL REVOLUTION !

Of course, we call on all workers, all the unemployed, all retirees, all young people, all women, all those whom power robs and oppresses, to fight, to roundabouts, to assemblies, to strike, to demonstrations, but we must now explain what the objectives and perspectives are, that is to say, to attack the power of the billionaires.

The Yellow Vest movement can restart by taking into account the lessons of its first movement : namely, the futility of simply putting pressure on the power of the billionaires, of trying to make itself heard by it, of forcing it to make the changes necessary for the working people. Because we cannot count on those responsible for the disaster to correct the situation.

Instead of appealing to our enemies in power, we must overthrow them and replace them with the power of the working people.

This is why it is essential to organize ourselves autonomously from all the organizations and institutions that have links with this power.

This is why it is essential that our organization leads to the election of councils that unite throughout the country, that make decisions on the struggle but also on the future of society and that lead them to become a power parallel to the current power and ultimately that become the new power of the workers.

Pushing back the power of billionaires, making them think, making them change, these are only illusions, they must be overthrown and replaced.

It is not individuals who must be overthrown, it is a social and political system.

Many Yellow Vests and many workers agree with the much-used slogan "Down with the power of the billionaires ! Direct democracy !" but they assume a new power of the self-organized working people...

The first role of the autonomous and independent organization of the Yellow Vests is to proclaim that we are aiming for the power of the Yellow Vest councils, the first act of the essential social revolution.

We do not address the enemies of the people, we dismiss them and undo their mode of domination, we replace it with our own power, that of the working people.

There is no point in hiding the fact that this goal is not yet on everyone’s mind. But the minority that thinks this way must defend its point of view everywhere, must demonstrate its necessity.

It is the facts, the economic and social collapse of the dominant society, that will demonstrate the validity of our perspective.

By setting ourselves this goal, we arm ourselves against our enemies because we give all our friends and allies, present and future, reasons to support us since we aim to be the new power.

By remaining a mere pole of protest, we announce in advance that we are as disarmed and without perspective, without an alternative to the collapsing capitalist world, as the unions, as the parties and associations of the left, of the left of the left and of the opportunist extreme left.

Of course, those among us who are influenced by them will cry out about heresy, lies, division, isolation, the weakening of the movement, and the loss of meaning of the Yellow Vests’ message.

The fact remains that the strength of the Yellow Vests is not only in their numbers but in their ability to offer a perspective completely outside the social and political system, against the system, to put an end to the system once and for all.

However, let us discuss the question a little : is it possible to temporarily force the ruling classes to back down from their attack (faced with an acute crisis of bourgeois domination, the threat of war, fascism, multiple sacrifices to make the working people pay for their debts through increased austerity) ?

In reality, yes, it is possible. It happened when these ruling classes found themselves faced with a mass popular uprising, with monster demonstrations, the general strike with occupation of factories, with strike committees, the people everywhere mobilized alongside the strikers...

What happened then ? Well, the workers did not move towards what we are proposing today. They did not move towards the seizure of power by workers’ committees, towards the fall of the capitalist state and its replacement by power given to self-organized workers. The workers’ false friends, the left, the left of the left, the false far left, the unions and left-wing associations, convinced them to trust in capitalist democracy, in a new left-wing capitalist government, in the "popular front," which was in fact still an adversary of the front of workers’ committees.

Well, the result was that the attack was delayed but not canceled, and it was even stronger three years later, in 1939-1940 : again faced with an acute crisis of bourgeois domination, the threat of war, of fascism, multiple sacrifices to make the working people pay for their debts through increased austerity.

And the Popular Front didn’t lift a finger to stop it. They were just false friends.

Few people today remember such a lesson. They are told, on the contrary, that the Popular Front was a left-wing bourgeois government that was supposedly on the side of the working people.

In fact, the entire task of this left-wing government was to disarm the rising workers’ revolution. Once this was done, this same popular front fired on a workers’ demonstration in Clichy, then handed over its powers to the extreme right, with the majority of elected Popular Front representatives voting for Pétain, who would govern with Laval (former Popular Front, now fascist).

If we need to organize ourselves, to form our committees, to federate them, it is to prepare a new power diametrically opposed to that of the capitalists. But it is also so that the most enlightened elements of the working people can be chosen to lead this struggle leading to an insurrection and a seizure of power and bringing about the destruction of the power of the billionaires.

This goal may seem too advanced to some participants today. But when the fight against our enemies becomes more radical, when they close the banks, when they no longer pay salaries, when they no longer pay pensions, when they shoot us in the streets, will they still think this ?

And, as of today, do they believe that it is with peaceful demonstrations, just by marching in large numbers in the streets and blocking, that we will prevent a propertied class from carrying through with projects that seem essential to them to keep power and money ?

No ! The constitution of the working people as the future ruling class is essential from now on, and the affirmation of this objective must become the number one goal of the movement, which must be discussed in all Yellow Vest assemblies and at all roundabouts.

Saying no to austerity, no to sacrifice, no to fascism, no to war, means saying yes to the Yellow Vest committees, electing struggle and strike committees federating across the country and even beyond, challenging and then overthrowing the power of the billionaires...
