For months, we have been told about the rise of the Covid epidemic, but nobody is doing anything.

What we know about COVID :

We know that the Covid epidemic does not start everywhere in the world at the same time.

What capitalist governments will not do, but what the direct democracy of the working people will do :

The international spread of the epidemic could be blocked by implementing medical screening of flights arriving from affected countries, regions, and cities. Travelers arriving from these areas could be required to undergo medical examinations. No capitalist government is doing this.

We could temporarily restrict travel to and from these regions and cities. Or allow only essential travel. Still no measures.

Or, at the very least, inform travelers in advance of the risks they are taking and exposing their loved ones and the local population to. Still nothing.

Or, finally, issue a publicly disseminated danger notice to inform the population in advance : "this city is spreading covid, if possible abstain"... Or at least delay the trip.

What we know about COVID :

Since we know that covid is rising in a population, it would be necessary for sick people to only come into contact with a minimum number of people.

This would require a general alert with instructions to stay home as much as possible and to minimize risks within families, among relatives, on public transport, in public places, at school, and at work. It should be emphasized that, in these circumstances, people have the right to stay home until they are no longer contagious. The government is doing the exact opposite and is not preventing students or employees from returning to work.

What we know about COVID :

The public message "attention, covid is rising" should be synonymous with exceptional measures against covid, not measures against the population as has sometimes been the case.

The measures to be taken would consist first of all in… measuring the disease…

This requires encouraging the population to get tested. However, this would also require pharmaceutical companies to update their tests to reflect new variants, which is not currently the case. It requires them to systematically track the type of variant, which they generally do not do. It requires that patients have a health benefit in getting tested for COVID-19, a point not made to those who believe that, regardless of COVID-19 or any other virus, they will receive the same treatment : paracetamol and that’s all.

We must ensure that those who contract COVID-19 suffer as few consequences as possible. The main consequence is that COVID-19 patients are highly susceptible to contracting a dangerous bacterium. The severity of the illness caused by the COVID-19 virus stems from these bacteria.

The arrival of these dangerous bacteria should be prevented by taking antibiotics, vitamin D, and zinc, among other things. This isn’t the official government health recommendation, and consequently, not the recommendation of most doctors, except in hospital emergency rooms. But this intervention should take place before the infection reaches the emergency room. It would also be the best way to avoid overcrowding in emergency departments.

The first point should be national and international coordination in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, and one might think that this is currently the case, particularly with the WHO and national government health services. But this is false. They are pursuing other political and social goals, notably the goal of combating the rise of… social revolution !

There are many examples that demonstrate the lies of the WHO and capitalist governments in the fight against COVID-19, lies that actually helped the pandemic. Let’s look at three : they initially spread the message that there was no risk of the pandemic spreading globally, then they refused to restrict international travel, then they claimed that masks were only for professionals while actively campaigning against mask-wearing, then they lied about the mode of transmission (claiming that it is not aerosols that carry the virus from one person to another but droplets) and thus led people to believe that all masks are equivalent (instead of recommending FFP2 masks), and finally they promoted the effectiveness and lack of risk of the so-called "COVID vaccines."

What was the government’s responsibility in the disastrous handling of the pandemic ? Attempts to bring leaders to trial have yielded little, even in cases where blatantly harmful acts were knowingly committed, such as the mass destruction of masks. The refusal of the European Union leader to disclose the content of agreements and conversations with capitalist firms producing or distributing COVID vaccines is further evidence of this, and she has faced no consequences so far.

The COVID-19 pandemic was followed by a veritable mass crime. A portion of the world’s population was wiped off the map. Orphans are legion. The victims are countless. Repression also struck, taking advantage of COVID-19.

In the period preceding Covid, social unrest was rising. It was stifled by the pandemic. "Victory !" the capitalists will say, but at the price of the counter-revolutionary massacre of the people ! Yes, the capitalists and their rulers didn’t want to fight Covid but to use it against the people !

Only committees of the working people united with grassroots committees of health professionals could confront the pandemic while defending the people.

The COVID vaccines are the most striking result of this entire policy. They serve to create the illusion that governments supported all efforts against COVID, that refusing vaccination was criminal and harmed the population, and that the pharmaceutical companies producing vaccines were saviors of the people and acted swiftly and recklessly solely due to the global health emergency. And this is completely false !

What the workers’ committees, united with groups of healthcare professionals, would do is publish the true results of scientific studies : the ineffectiveness of COVID vaccines (vaccination is impossible since there is no natural immunity against COVID ; vaccines only serve to stimulate naturally existing immune capacities). On the contrary, COVID vaccines overtax the human immune system (much more than the COVID disease itself) and cause immune disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and cancers (particularly pancreatic cancer).

What we know about COVID :

Generally speaking, a well-known rule among epidemiologists of the past (recalled during the Ebola pandemic) is that mass vaccination is not carried out during an epidemic because, in that case, vaccination has a harmful collective effect, promoting the spread instead of slowing it down.

By imposing mass COVID vaccination through fear and coercion (particularly by claiming that the unvaccinated would all die or kill their loved ones and that they were the ones overwhelming hospitals !), governments prevented the use of other measures such as masks, ventilation, air purification, and precautions in public places, and fostered the belief that all of these were useless and that vaccination alone was sufficient. False, completely false !

The government took no action to help the victims. They never gave them a second thought. No special medical assistance, no financial or economic aid. They only helped the capitalists get through the "COVID economic crisis" ! COVID was used to create the illusion that the economic collapse had a health cause. In short, it was about pretending that the capitalists and the people were victims in the same way !

In fact, the rulers have exerted their dictatorship more than ever during this period of economic collapse, under the pretext that the repression (which prohibited protests, demonstrations, gatherings, and dissent) had a health cause and therefore was for the protection of the population…

It’s pointless to demand, in a reformist manner, that governments act responsibly and democratically in the public health and welfare sectors. It’s completely illusory ; their interest, and that of the capitalists, lies entirely in acting in the opposite direction !

What we know about COVID :

We haven’t had access to the real information held by governments and trusts. Scandals like Pfizergate, or those involving the president of the European Union or Buzyn, are being covered up.

The working people must rely not on democratic governments, but on their own organization, their own action, their own control, and ultimately on their own power to know the contents of files, to know what pharmaceutical trusts and governments in the pay of capitalists are doing, and ultimately, on the working people’s control over all wealth and all power to ensure their health, safety, and well-being. Any other "solution" is nothing but smoke and mirrors and nonsense !
