When governments are reduced to direct violence, it is because the capitalist dynamic is dead.
"What distinguishes the bourgeoisie from all the classes that once reigned is this particularity that, in its development, there is a turning point from which any increase in its means of power, therefore, first of all its capital, only makes it more and more unfit for political domination."
Friedrich Engels
“Beyond a certain point, the development of the productive forces becomes a barrier to capital ; in other words, the capitalist system becomes an obstacle to the expansion of the productive forces of labor. At this point, capital, or more precisely wage labor, enters into the same relationship to the development of social wealth and the productive forces as the guild system, serfdom, slavery, and is necessarily rejected as a hindrance. The last form of servitude that human activity assumes—wage labor on the one hand and capital on the other—is then stripped away, and this stripping away itself is the result of the mode of production that corresponds to capital. Themselves the negation of the earlier forms of enslaved social production, wage labor and capital are in turn negated by the material and spiritual conditions arising from their own process of production. It is through acute conflicts, crises, convulsions that the growing incompatibility between the creative development of society and the established relations of production is expressed.
Karl Marx, Capital - Book One - The Development of Capitalist Production :
"What is important, however, in the horror that grips them at the fall in the rate of profit is the feeling that in the development of the productive forces the capitalist mode of production finds a limit which has nothing to do with the production of wealth per se ; and this very particular limitation testifies to the limited and purely historical, transitory character of the capitalist system of production. It testifies that it is not an absolute mode of production of wealth, that on the contrary it comes into conflict with the development of wealth at a certain stage of evolution."
Karl Marx, Capital - Book 3 - Section 3 : The Law of the Tendency of the Rate of Profit to Fall
“Capitalism will never be as vulnerable as when it reaches its peak.”
Karl Marx
"To oppress a class, one must be able to guarantee it conditions of existence that, at least, allow it to live in servitude. (...) It is therefore clear that the bourgeoisie is incapable of fulfilling its role as ruling class any longer and of imposing on society, as a regulatory law, the conditions of existence of its class. It can no longer reign, because it is incapable of ensuring the existence of its slave within the framework of his slavery, because it is obliged to let him decline to the point of having to feed him instead of being fed by him. Society can no longer live under its domination, which amounts to saying that the existence of the bourgeoisie is no longer compatible with that of society."
Communist Manifesto, Marx and Engels
The fact that the possessing classes can no longer govern except by direct violence is a symptom that the economic and social dynamics of their system are broken...
Everyone is aware of the violent intervention of repressive forces in the four corners of the world, carried out by governments of all kinds and origins. Of course, the aim of these state repressions is to break the development of the revolutionary "springs" that have flourished all over the world following those in Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, France, etc. We have clearly seen that against the Yellow Vests, the violence of repression has become the very basis of the policies of those in power in France. We have also seen the violence of police interventions in the USA and in other formerly so-called democratic countries. These are in no way the excesses of this or that political movement, of this or that head of state, or due to specific situations in a given country, particularly destabilized by local, political, economic, or social conditions. No, it is a global phenomenon whose depth and scope must be understood.
It is because the economic dynamic is broken that state violence becomes the only weapon of the capitalist class.
What made societies stable for decades was that the richest countries relied on the dynamics of their economies, of their capitalists, to establish the sustainability of their world domination. This is no longer the case.
Of course, some claim that the blame lies with covid ! The pandemic is once again being blamed... The ultra-violent repressions of recent years, just like the wave of revolutions, did not wait for covid, do we even need to remind you ?!!
When big capital rushed into production, revolutionized it, invested in it, developed new products, won new markets for its productions, invested ever more in productive sectors without even being encouraged by state aid, then capitalism easily managed to conquer the planet, to dominate, to make people believe in its progressive role even if the majority of the world’s population suffered from this domination or died from it. Since, even with massive help from states and central banks, big capital has turned away from production, since it no longer speculates on the general fall, since it throws itself into bogus currencies like bitcoin, into computer platforms that produce nothing like Uber, into rotten securities, into completely bogus speculations, into debt securities, into the general fall, the capacity of capitalism to bring about the agreement or passivity of people has completely disappeared, including in rich countries. From then on, the only way to govern became the baton, weapons for shooting at the unarmed civilian population, grenades and other instruments of civil war.
And the current ruling classes have multiple weapons of civil war. This ranges from manipulating terrorism, all forms of terrorism, to creating armed fascist or paramilitary gangs. The United States is at the forefront in this area, but it is not alone...
We have just seen with the new pandemic that pharmaceutical laboratories are also producing new weapons to destroy, to kill, to dominate, to crush people. The so-called P4 laboratories, ultra-protected because they are ultra-dangerous, are factories producing bacteriological and virological weapons. Even if the same laboratories also produce drugs, we know that these can kill as well as cure !
And it’s not the covid vaccines that will contradict us !!! We have seen that the possession of vaccines by States is becoming a weapon of global domination. Bill Gates, holder of the largest number of vaccines, is he not also the richest man in the world and the one who has become the richest thanks to the pandemic ?!!!
Yes, vaccines, far from being simple means of protecting people against the pandemic, are weapons of combat just like other weapons of the economic, social and political war that the ruling classes are waging against the working people ! Everyone has been able to see that they are a means for trusts, for States, to develop their domination over the world. We can also see that they are a means of coercion against the people. Anyone who is not vaccinated will not have access to this, will not be able to go there, will not be able to travel, will not be able to provide care, will not be able to teach, will not be able to go to daycare, school or university !!! The covid pass is permanent blackmail. We point the finger at the caregiver or teacher who does not want to be vaccinated or at parents who do not want to vaccinate their children.
If vaccines kill, it’s not by chance. AstraZeneca was able to verify in its first trials that vaccinated people could die from thrombosis, and the trust continued to claim that its vaccine was ready... And that’s just one example.
We will be told, "you are against vaccines when they are progress," just as we were told "you are against nuclear power when it is the future." But we are against capitalism in its rotting and collapsed phase, much more than in its dynamic and conquering phase. We are not against any kind of production per se, but we are against vaccinating with products whose danger is not verified and whose effectiveness is not assured. We are opposed to the domination of drug trusts as of all other trusts. We are opposed to the fact that they hold all the wealth as well as all the power, state or otherwise. The result, in the question of vaccines, is that governments pay crazy sums to trusts without even knowing what they will receive, what it is worth, what it is used for, and what effect it will have. And people are under crazy pressure to get vaccinated without knowing what long-term effects this will have, when the viruses have mutated in ultra-dangerous ways, these mutations being encouraged by mass vaccination or the use of antiviral products.
But, you might say, we cannot do without vaccines, whether they are with aluminum, risky like Astrazeneca with dangers of thrombosis in particular, or RNA and with dangers of autoimmune diseases in particular. Well, that is false : it has been shown for more than a year that vaccines for simple rhinitis would be enough to protect against covid !!! But the governments and the pharmaceutical companies pretend not to hear it... Because that is not in their interest. They want to take people hostage and not save them...
Yes, vaccines today are not "simply" medicines but tools in the total war that the ruling classes have been waging against us since 2007, since it became clear that capitalist collapse was inevitable.
Of course, some will say, look, capitalism held out from 2008 to 2021 ! Yes, it remained in power in the world, but it continued to fall in terms of its real economic capacity, at the same time as public and private debts continued to increase and the share of wealth owed to production continued to fall.
Today, we are told that if the economy is collapsing despite crazy state and institutional aid, it is because of covid and the resulting lockdowns, but this is completely false. The current inexorable fall in real activity, whether automotive, aeronautical, electrical or other, of all industrial production, is nothing other than the continuation of the fall of 2007, temporarily stopped in 2008. Only the stock markets are not falling but are playing yo-yo according to the enormous gifts they expect and demand from States and central banks. But the relative good health of the stock markets, in contrast to the industrial fall, only shows that the gap is still widening between speculation and production, the stock markets no longer aiming to centralize funds to invest in real activities.
Yes, the capitalist dynamic is a broken spring as soon as capitalist accumulation is no longer carried out through the formation of new productive surplus value, as soon as the number of active proletarians decreases at the same time as production itself and capitalist profits are now usurious, speculative profits, acting as a leech on the whole of society and not as builders and producers of new real wealth.
No one will be able to repair the broken spring of capitalism. No amount of sacrifice by the people will do it. The capitalist dynamic is dead, and the first to realize this are the capitalists and their rulers, and that is why they are attacking the people so violently, going so far as to manipulate a pandemic to push through their antisocial, dictatorial, and liberticidal measures.
The sooner working people realize that we must not first defeat the pandemic before changing society, but that the two go hand in hand, the sooner we will emerge from the nightmare of this historic end of capitalism and the less suffering and destruction it will produce, pandemics as well as wars and fascism.
